Casey, of Tulsa, was born August 4, 1921, in Oilton, OK, to Matilda and Israel Casey. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 25, 2006, in the company of his brother-in-law, and close friend of 60 years, Ben Irvin. His loving wife of 63 years, Florence, preceded him in death on July 5, 2004. Floyd is survived by: his sister in-law, Roline Wise of Tulsa; brother in-laws, Ben Irvin II of Tulsa, JC Wise of Oklahoma City; nieces, Renea Hudson, Patricia Nichols, Diane Wise of Tulsa, Carolyn O'Neal of Owasso, Dana Luft of Lincoln, CA, Gaylene Wise of Oklahoma City; nephews, Max Casey of Tulsa, Roger Wise of Denver, CO, Ben Irvin III of Pocatello, ID, Gary Wise of Oklahoma City, Keith Lamb of Ft. Meyer, FL, Mark Lamb and Robert Lamb of Chicago, IL. Floyd worked for Sun Company for 40 years before retiring. He was an avid fisherman and camper, working his early retirement years for the Forrest Service in Colorado. He served in the Army in WWII. As an active member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, S.J., USA, Floyd had been a 32 degree Mason since 1950. He was an expert on barbeque and loved to cook. Over the past 2 years, he volunteered at The Center, assisting with the care of individuals with physical challenges. His generosity, wisdom and caring nature, was a mainstay in his neighborhood of 35 years and his neighbors are truly at a loss. Floyd will greatly be missed by his many friends, neighbors and family. He was laid to rest beside Florence, October 30, at Floral Haven. Rest in peace our dear Uncle Floyd.
