Mrs. Virginia H. Cosby,74, Tulsa, died Monday, at her home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Chapel with Ed. 
Yarger officiating.Committal services will be at 2 p.m. in Olympus 
Cememtery, Grove,Ok.

She was born Oct.12,1915 in Grove, and is a graduate of Grove High 
School.

Mrs. Cosby was employed as an operator by Southwestern Bell Telephone 
for 29 years before retiring in 1981. She moved to Tulsa 36 years 
ago.

She married Merle F. Cosby on September 29,1834, in Columbus, Kansas. 
She was proceded in death by her husband in 1981, and by one 
grandson.

Mrs. Cosby was a member of the Pioneers  Club of Southwestern Bell 
Telephone.

Survivors include Jane E. of Sobronte, Calif.; son Lee M. Cosby of 
Sapulpa, sister Lon Dee Erich and Sur Kerr, of SanPuble.Calif., and 
Mary Bryan of Vallejo,Calif.; four grandchildren and ten 
greatgranchildren.
