April 16, 2007 Robert Kenneth Crawford Robert Kenneth Crawford, 76, of Sapulpa passed away Saturday, April 14, 2007, at his home surrounded by his family. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at the First Presbyterian Church in Sapulpa with the Rev. Dr. John Nelsen presiding. Arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home of Sapulpa. Bob was born Dec. 9, 1930, in Sapulpa to George Brown Crawford and Melita "Biddie" Rodman Crawford. He attended Sapulpa Public Schools and later graduated from the Okmulgee Technology College where he studied to become a licensed plumbing contractor. While in the United States Army, Bob was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. On Nov. 20, 1956, he married Mary Ann Hix of Kiefer. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past November. Mr. Crawford was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sapulpa. He was the owner of Robert Crawford Plumbing Company in Sapulpa for 40-plus years and also enjoyed remodeling houses all over the Sapulpa area. He enjoyed being with his family, friends and his coffee shop buddies. He will be remembered as a great husband, loving father, terrific grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Mary Ruth; three brothers, George, Carl and Earl Crawford; and one sister, Ruth Marie McCormick. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann of the home; daughters Roberta Henshaw and husband Tom of Norman, Sherry Connally and husband Eddie of Norman, Debra Lee and husband Tony of Tulsa and Rhetta Kaye Crawford of Sapulpa; grandchildren Capt. Zachary Henshaw and wife Kathryn of Columbus, Miss., Shelley Lewis and husband Brian of Tulsa, Serina Peterson and husband SSG John of Lawton, Stephanie Parker of Sapulpa, Chelsey Farmer and husband Jeremy of Glenpool, Sarah Connally of Norman, Vince Parker and Audra Feeback of Sapulpa; great- grandchildren Benjamin, Kiernin and Avery Lewis, Dylan Porker-Kirk, Gabriel and Samuel Peterson, Jay Henshaw and Jaxton Farmer; one sister, Cora Luellen Wagaman of Hemet, Calif.; Brothers-in-law Harold Hix and wife Mary Jo of Kermit Texas and Richard Hix of Tulsa; sisters-in-law Linda Wright of Mounds, Jeanne Hix of Sapulpa, Anne Hix of Dayton, Ohio, and numerous relatives and friends. Serving as pallbearers are Melvin Rarmey, Walter Green, Tony Woodall, Perry Brooks, David McCormick and Douglas Brooks.
