She was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma on November 5, 1923. She resided at Carefree Village Mobile Home Park in Tucson, Arizona and was a member of Amphi Bible Church. She was one of eight children, five girls and three boys. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Eldridge "Woody" L. Deadwyler; her parents, Roy L. and Grace Millspaugh Davis; three sisters and three brothers. Survived by sister, Patsy Gene (Donald) Phillips; nieces, Judith W. Dillender and Jennifer C. King and nephew, Ronald Van Crawford. Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2004 at Amphi Bible Church, 226 W. Prince Road. Interment will be in Alexandria National Cemetery, Pineville, Louisiana. Arrangements by BRING'S MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 236 S.
