All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Oaklawn Memorial Park--Oakdale CA Fuhlendorf, Juanita Joyce JUANITA JOYCE FUHLENDORF FEB. 28, 1928 - JAN. 7, 2007 Juanita Joyce Fuhlendorf passed away January 7, 2007 at the Memorial Medical Center, Modesto, CA. She was 78 years of age. She was born in Bristow, Oklahoma and moved to Tennessee with her parents in 1928. She attended schools in Tennessee before moving to Oakdale, CA in 1946. She graduated from Oakdale High in 1947. She was very active in sports. Juanita married Claus Fuhlendorf on August 8, 1948. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary last August 8, 2006. Juanita worked for the Modesto City Schools cafeteria system for 15 years and was known as the cafeteria lady at Modesto High. She retired in 1974. Juanita is survived by her husband, Claus Fuhlendorf and two sons: Michael Fuhlendorf and his wife, Charlene, of Modesto and David Fuhlendorf of Oakdale. She is also survived by three grandsons, Allan Fuhlendorf Medina of Santa Rosa, Erik Fuhlendorf of Modesto, and Ward Fuhlendorf of Oakdale, CA. Juanita is also survived by two brothers, B. L. White and Jeremy Whyte of Modesto, plus a sister, Colleen Hyson of Windsor, CA. Visitation will be Friday, January 26 from 4- 8 p.m. at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel, 419 Scenic Drive, Modesto. Funeral service will be January 27, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 547 Rose Avenue, Modesto. Interment will be at Oaklawn Memorial Park, 421 N. Sierra, Oakdale.
