Brothers Lance 39, and Shannon 26, both of Sapulpa, died October 4, 2006, in a tragic accident, while fishing on Keystone Lake. Lance was born January 11, 1967, the fourth of six children, in Tulsa. He attended Sapulpa High School and was a valued employee at B&B Electric in Tulsa, for the past 18 years. Shannon was born June 16, 1980, in Sapulpa, was the youngest of the six siblings. Shannon attended Charles Page High School in Sand Springs and had recently graduated from the Oklahoma College of Construction in Oklahoma City. Lance and Shannon had a love for life that shined every day. Lance loved the outdoors and enjoyed nothing more than traveling with his wife, Donna, fishing, and camping. Shannon never turned down a chance to fish or golf with his brothers. Both showed their boisterous support for Oklahoma University and NASCAR. Shannon always kept his eyes peeled for new additions to his impressive golf ball collection. Lance took great pride in owning a motorcycle, his lifelong dream. Many evenings the Gee boys could be found playing dominos with friends and family. Lance and Shannon left behind countless heartbroken family members and friends. Some of those devastated by this loss include Lance's soul mate and wife of 18 years, Donna Pryor of Sapulpa; their parents, David and Loretta Gee of Sapulpa; and siblings, Laura (Chris) Gee of Sapulpa, David Gee, Jr. of Sapulpa, Richard (Christine) Gee of Tempe, AZ, and Russell (Liberty) Gee of Tulsa. Also grieving are grandfather, William Park; nephews, Trey, Jerad, Derrick, JJ, Logan and Christopher; and nieces, Lorann and Brittany. Visitation was Monday, October 9, at Green Hills in Sapulpa. The Funeral begins at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 10, also at Green Hills. In lieu of flowers donations to help cover burial costs can be made at any BancFirst location.
