Goodnight, Clarence Franklin

Funeral service for Clarence Franklin Goodnight, 85, of Chickasha,
Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m, Monday, April 12, 2004, in the Chapel
of Sevier Funeral Home.

Clarence Franklin Goodnight was born February 22, 1919, in Sapulpa,
Oklahoma, the son of O. O. and Annie (Hill) Goodnight, and died April 9,
2004, at his home.

Mr. Goodnight attended school at Nonnekah.  He lived in the Grady County
area all of his life.  He worked for several auto shops and owned and
operated Goodnight's Auto Service.

He served during World War II in the U. S. Army Medics as a dental
technician.

He and Laverne were married March 8, 1974.

Mr. Goodnight was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Mary Lou
Doughty; two sisters, Evelyn Perkins and Lillie Petty.

Survivors include his wife, Laverne Goodnight; one daughter and her
husband, Rhelda and Wendell Nye; one son and his wife, Charles Lynn and
Tawanna Whinery; two sisters, Louise Hill and Maxine Smith; seven
grandchildren, Billy and Melony Whinery, Bryan and Sheila Whinery, Matt
and Victoria Whinery, Chris Douglas, Vanessa Wright, Stacy Mosier, Kevin
Mosier; seven great grandchildren, Caylee Wells, Lakin and Lindsay Smith,
Jacob Lee, Glory Whinery, Jonah Whinery, and Jordan Whinery.

Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Sevier
Funeral Home.
