Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Fines Marchman, pastor of First Baptist Church of Skellytown, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Golden was born Dec. 4, 1914, in Faxon, Okla. She married Alvie Tom "Red" Golden on May 3, 1929, at Olton, Okla. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1948. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a gardener. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 9, 1982. Survivors include a daughter, Marie Griggs of Amarillo; a brother, John Bolton Howell of Anchorage, Alaska; a grandson, Jay Griggs and wife, Christy, of Amarillo; and four great-grandchildren, Josh, Anna, Stephanie and Alli. The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176.
