All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Harp, Ruth On July 19th, 2002, Ruth Harp died peacefully in her sleep. Born on Aug 22, 1909, she grew up in the oilfields of Cushing, Drumright and Oklahoma City, where her parents, George and Elizabeth Ray lived and worked. Ruth graduated from Garber High School in 1929 and married Frank C. Feiock. One son, Ray, was born, before a 1931 oilfield accident took Frank's life. Ruth worked hard raising her son, holding jobs as a makeup specialist for Richard Hudnut, a credit manager and Citizen's National Bank employee, also attending Oklahoma State University. A member of the Baptist Church, Ruth married Everett Harp, and the two lived in Capitol Hill for more than thirty years, where she made a beautiful home and applied her skill and love of gardening. After Everett's death, Ruth's son, Ray D. Feiock and his wife Sandi, of Escondido CA, welcomed Ruth to their home for her remaining years. A sister, Ruby Burris, preceded her in death, Ruth is survived by son Ray, a sister, Georgia Dominguez, grandchildren Donald Reddin and Debi Clark; great grandchildren Kyle Reddin and Carrick Reddin; nieces Teresa Coker, Mildred Strohfield and Martha Speck, nephews Mike and David Dominguez, and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Monday, July 29, at Resthaven Cemetery, OKC.
