All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Oakdale Cemetery--Depew OK Wesley Olin Hall Sr. Published: Wednesday, November 12, 2008 3:10 PM CST Wesley Olin Hall Sr., 77, retired oil field worker and former employee of Wagoner Drilling and Foreign Oil Company, passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at the Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa. Olin was born Feb. 1, 1931, in Depew, to the late Alphonses Hall and Cecil Mae Jones. He was a resident of Stroud all his life and was of the Protestant faith. Olin was married to Geraldine Palmer on Dec. 11, 1949, in Reno, Nev. To that union was born two children, Wesley Jr. and Cindy. Olin enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and watching his grandchildren play sports. He and Gerri always enjoyed traveling with special friends, Martha and Calvin Bookout. Olin was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Coy, Loy, Dubs, Leroy and Jocker; his sisters, Gladys Jackson and Ocella Nalor, and grandson, Wesley “Jake” O. Hall. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Geraldine of the home; a son, Wesley O. Hall Jr. and wife, Shelia; daughter, Cindy Hightower and husband, Jim, all from Depew; grandchildren, Tammy Hall of Tulsa, Shelly Hilbert and Kerry of Depew, Dedre Garner and Josh of Broken Arrow, and Sha Alcorn and David of Bristow. Also surviving are his great-grandchildren, Megan, Chelsea and Chance Roth, Kreg, Kyle and Kody Hilbert, Austin Alcorn, Mackenzie and Logan Garner, and Riley and Sydney Hall; two brothers, Bill Hall of Tucson, Ariz. and Venus Hall of Pineville, Mo.; one sister, Maxine Prall of Tucson, and a host of friends and relatives. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 13, in the First church of God of Depew, with the Rev. Clyde McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery of Depew.
