Hensley Marysville Yuba City Appeal Democrat December 7, 2000 Allen Dale Hensley, 69, of Live Oak died Dec. 5, 2000, at Valley Oaks Health Care Center in Gridley. Born in Mannford, Okla., he was a Mid-Valley resident for 32 years. He was a bartender. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, McCutcheon Post 5731, the Loyal Order of Moose of Gridley, No. 1594 and the National Rifle Association. Survivors include his wife, Betty Hensley of Live Oak; a daughter, Glenice Fay Hatfield of Hesperia; a son, Floydray Allen Hensley of Tehama; four stepdaughters, Peggy Garcia of New Mexico, Ann Rideout of Oklahoma, Juanita Watkins of Texas and Kathy Jay of Reno, Nev.; two stepsons, Jack Freeman of Oklahoma and Jerry Freeman of Live Oak; two sisters, Alta Lorane Blount of Reno and Shirley Sue Elliott of Live Oak; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
