All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Smith FH--Sapulpa OK On Feb. 4, 2006 Richard "Rick" Van Kalsbeek left this life to be with Our Lord. He went on to be with Patrick, John and Mary Ann. Although he will be greatly missed, we were all blessed to have been part of his life. Rick was "dad" and "brother" to nearly everyone he met. He has influenced a community and touched the lives of many. Rick had a passion for little league football and junior bull riding. He had hopes of starting a Bibles and Bulls ministry to let all the young cowboys hear the word of God. He loved football and delighted in helping coach the Kellyville Little League Ponies. On Friday nights you would find him on the sidelines, home or away, cheering for the high school Ponies. Rick leaves behind the love of his life, Patti; his children, Heather and Andy, Stephen, Andrew and Annie, Zachary, Tucker, William, and his "princess" Jonna; his granddaughter Abigail; his brothers and sisters Robert and Trina Van Kalsbeek, Terri Skelly, Pamela and Marty Pitman, Paula and Jeff Nuckolls, Jeremy and Michelle Meyer, Deanna and Brian Henderson, Randy and Lisa Hutchins, Rhonda and John Myers, Mary and Mike Brown, Craig and Tanya Hutchins and Curtis Hutchins; his parents, Barbara and Dorrance Meyer, Rick and Bev Van Kalsbeek, Lloyd and Judy Hutchins and Chuck and Rene Klim; and his grandparents George and Lucille Van Kalsbeek and Lucile Meyer. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006 at the First Baptist Church in Kellyville. Nolan Thomas of the First Christian Church will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Brian Henderson, Bobby Rosson, Ron Weathers, Cy Wheeler, Rodney Crall, Curtis Hutchins, Jerry Atwood and Matt Atwood. After a military graveside ceremony, a dinner will be hosted by the ladies of the First Baptist Church for all that wish to attend. Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa.
