::Memorial Park Cemetery--Tulsa OK

LEWIS -- Betty Ruth, longtime Tulsa resident, passed away at her home in 
Florida, after a short illness. Betty was born in Bristow, OK, in 1924 and 
was Bristow High School's Homecoming Queen her senior year. Betty and her 
late husband, Dr. Jim R. Lewis, founded Sheridan Avenue Christian Church 
in Tulsa, where they served faithfully until 1963. Betty is survived by: a 
brother, Noble Burns of Mount Vernon, IL; sister, Phyllis Parker of 
Sebastian, FL; 2 children, Jim Lewis of Cedar Hill, TX, and Rev. Laurie 
Hart, of Albuquerque, NM; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 
A Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2006 at 
Memorial Park Cemetery, 5115 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa.
