"Corky", 76, of Tulsa, died quietly at St. John Hospital, on Friday, September 15, 2006. He was born in Seminole, OK, on May 3, 1930, to Arby and Eva (Ockerman) Lutz, and lived in Kiefer and Sapulpa, OK. He graduated from Sapulpa High School and attended Oklahoma State University, after receiving his Associate degree, he served in the U.S. Navy, from January 25, 1951 to January 11, 1955, when he received an honorable discharge. He then returned to Tulsa, where he was employed by the City of Tulsa and the State of Oklahoma. He retired from the State of Oklahoma, as Superintendent of Operations and Maintenance, at the State Office building, in Tulsa. Marvin was a devoted husband and father, he is survived by: his wife, Alice Lutz (Johnston); 2 sons, Ray and Jim of Tulsa; his daughter-in-law, Melanie; and 2 grandsons, Daniel and David Lutz. He was a Pilot and Teacher of flying, and also enjoyed fishing trips with friends and family. He was a member of several business organizations and began collecting antique clocks, and became a member of the Greater Tulsa Depression Era Glass Club. A Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday September 26, 2006, in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Floral Haven, 252-2518.
