All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Ledeker, Lewis Eugene "Gene" Lewis Eugene Ledeker, "Gene," passed away Friday, July 6, 2007, at Valley Health Center, Billings. Gene was born Aug. 28, 1917, in Drumright, Okla., to Herman I. Ledeker and Viola Shick Ledeker. He graduated from high school in Sumner, Ill., in 1937. He was a Captain in the Air Force in WWII and flew with the Flying Tigers, piloting a B-25 aircraft. After the war he owned the Oil Abstract Co. He married Helen Grace Stockburger on May 28, 1960, and they worked together in the business. They lived most of their married life in Billings,. except for winters spent in Green Valley, Ariz. Gene was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; his parents; three brothers, Burnis Ledeker, Lester Ledeker, Bobbie Ledeker; and a sister, Juanita Irene Abernathy. He is survived by a sister, Betty Lou White of Olney, Ill.; sisters-in-law, "Dickie" Stockburger, Billings, Betty Erfle, Rapelje; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services are at 2 p.m. Monday, July 16, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Memorials to St. Luke's Episcopal Church or the charity of your choice.
