Moore entered eternal life. Orval was born to Charles and Nora Moore on January 5, 1917, in Baxter, Missouri. His family moved to Gypsy, Oklahoma, where he was raised. Here, he met his future wife, Hazel Carroll. They were married in nearby Bristow on October 16, 1937, a marriage that would last for 66 years. Within the first few years of their marriage the couple moved to Wasco, California, where they settled and raised their family. Orval used the farming skills obtained in his youth to further his working career in agriculture. His most rewarding years were the many he spent as ranch foreman for Lester Neufeld Farms. Tending to the soil was Orvals labor of love that carried over into his meticulous care of his garden. His family and friends shared the rewards of his gardening skills. He is survived by his wife, Hazel; his son, Robert Moore and wife, Frankie; his daughter, Janice Garland and husband, Gilbert; his daughter, Margie Frost; eight grandchidlren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. Orval was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Edna Tiger and his son-in-law, Larry Frost.
