All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Cremated Eaton FH--Modesto CA Martino, Patty Jean (Lee) PATTY JEAN (LEE) MARTINO FEB. 3, 1928 - APR. 9, 2007 Age 79, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on April 9, 2007 at Memorial Hosptial. She was born to Leonard C. Lee & Beulah Fields (Lee) Snavely in Kiefer, OK. She lived in Earlsboro, Jenks and Tulsa, OK. She graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa in 1945. Her passion was to move to California after graduation. At 17 she came to Modesto to visit relatives and decided to stay. She married Frank Martino in Nov. 1947. She worked at the Telephone Company and Loeb's Dept. Store when both were in downtown Modesto and Mr. Loeb often assigned her to discreetly scout prices at other stores.She is survived by Frank Martino, her husband of 59 years; daughter Janine B. Dull (Gary) of Modesto, CA; son John A. Martino of Riverbank, CA; grandchildren Angela M. Dull and Jeremy L. Dull, both of Modesto; her only sister June L. Powers of Sequim, WA; and dozens of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents as well as Louis C. Lee, her only brother. She was a devoted wife, mother and nana. She was an excellent seamstress, loved cooking and baking for everyone and enjoyed visiting and being with family. Stacks of cookbooks reflect her love of baking and boxes of well-used clothing patterns are evidence of her many sewing projects. She is lovingly remembered for the years she cared for Frank's mother, Beatrice (Renna) Martino who is now long deceased. Nieces and nephews still reminisce about the birthday cards they always received from "Aunt Patty" during their younger years. Memorial Service will be held Sat., Apr. 14, at 2 pm in the Chapel at First Baptist Church, 12th & M, Modesto, CA. First Baptist Church Pastoral Ministry Office is coordinating the service. Eaton Funeral Home is entrusted with Patty's request for cremation.
