Moss, Helen Beatrice

HELEN BEATRICE MOSS DEC. 30, 1924 - MAY 31, 2007 Helen Beatrice Moss, 
82, of Checotah, passed from this life on Thursday, May 31, 2007 in 
Checotah. She was born on December 30, 1924 in Bristow, OK, the 
daughter of Ben and Angie (Ricketts) Miller. Helen was married to her 
sweetheart and best friend, Mirl Moss, for over sixty-five years 
before her death. They had moved to the Checotah area in 1988 from 
California. She had worked in a poultry processing plant, and was of 
the Baptist faith. Helen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, 
and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Preceding Helen in death were her parents; 1 son Richard Moss; and 
several brothers and sisters. Those left to cherish her memories is 
her loving husband Mirl, of the home; 1 son, Vernon Moss of Maricopa, 
CA; 2 daughters Faye Spence of Ceres, CA and Beverly Wilson of 
Checotah; 1 sister MaggieCheatwood of Mesa,' AZ; 14 grandchildren; 33 
great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other 
relatives and friends.

Services have been held. Hampton Mortuary in Checotah were entrusted 
with arrangements.
