Nolan Elmer Curtis Nolan, 87, of Marysville died Feb. 14, 2006, at Marysville Care and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Drumwright, Okla., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 17 years. He was a paint contractor. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Mae Nolan of Marysville; four daughters, Jeannie Smith of Red Bluff, Paula Larsen and Chris Nereaux, both of Sacramento, and Patty Green of Garrison, Texas; two sons, William Elliot of Sacramento and Billy Cannon of Mount Pleasant, Texas; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Gene Nolan, Floyd Nolan and Bob Nolan. Donations may be made to Sutter North Hospice, 726 Fourth St., Marysville, CA 95901.
