He was born on March 5, 1927 in Sapulpa, OK. Jimmie served in the US Navy. He graduated from Oklahoma A&M University where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He retired from Amoco Production Company and Freeman Moving Company. Jimmie formerly served as a deacon and elder at the First Presbyterian Church in Edmond. He was a member of the Edmond Kiwanis Club. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Barbara Ann (Brown) Norman; son, Randy Norman and wife, Gwen, Broken Arrow, OK; son, Kevin Norman, Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Emily and Dan Brown, Cincinnati, OH, Melanie Norman, Oklahoma City, OK, and Shelby Norman, Broken Arrow, OK. Memorial gifts in Jimmie's honor may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond, Choir Fund, 1001 S.
