Mildred Lois Russell

Mildred Lois Russell, of Sapulpa, died Monday, Oct 11, 2004 at the 
age of 74. She was born July 6, 1930 in Sapulpa to Raymond and Stella 
Wolfe.

She lived in the Sapulpa area all her life. She was a member of 
Midway Full Gospel Church in Oakhurst. She married George Canaday 
Aug. 24, 1950. They were married for 25 years and had four children 
together.

She later married Jack L. Russell and was married to him for 23 
years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother  and sister, and 
she will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Stella and Raymond Wolfe; 
husband Jack Russell; sisters Wanda Broughton, Helen Turner and Fern 
Broughton; and brothers Luther Wolfe, Howard Wolf, Clifford Wolfe, 
Hester Wolfe, Marvin Wolf and Melvin Wolfe. 

Survivors are her children Kenneth Canady and wife Evelyn, Rodger 
Canady and wife Karen, Joe Canady, Karen Evans and husband Josh, all 
of Sapulpa; grandchildren Shannon Canady, Dana Linker, Steven 
Campbell, Monty Campbell, Chad Canady, Mike Canady, Jennifer Canady, 
Kamie Evans and Kaylie Evans and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Thursday Oct 14, 2004 at Midway 
Full Gospel CHurch with the Rev. Leroy Sewell officiating. Interment 
will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

Serving as casket bearers will be Steven Campbell, Monty Campbell, 
Matt Noble, Chad Canady, Kevin Wolfe and Johnny Wolfe. Honorary 
bearer will be Mike Canady.

Our mother was a precious angel from heaven that god lent to us for 
74 years. We will miss her very much. The family has entrusted the 
care of the services to Green Hill Funeral Home.
