Reasor Maxine C. Reasor, 82, of Canyon, formerly of Amarillo, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2005. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Covenant of Joy Christian Church in Amarillo with Mike Williams and Michael Arndt officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40, Amarillo. Mrs. Reasor was born May 12, 1923, in Bristow, Okla., to William and Dona Willis Coppinger. She married James Reasor on Dec. 14, 1942, in Bristow. She was a charter member of Covenant of Joy Christian Church, where she taught Sunday school. She also worked at the Beehive Day Care Center in Perryton. She loved her church and working with children. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 19, 2003; three sisters; and three brothers. Survivors include three sons, Alan Reasor of Conroe, Gary Reasor of Johnson, Kan., and Mark Reasor of Canyon; a sister, Cleo Smith of Bristow; a brother, Sham Coppinger of Claremore, Okla.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. The family suggests memorials be to Faith City Mission, 401 S.E. Second Ave., Amarillo, TX 79101.
