All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Louise Renfro Eugene Register Guard 14 May 2004 SPRINGFIELD - A graveside service will be held May 22 for Louise Renfro of Springfield, who died May 10 of age-related causes. She was 84. Renfro was born May 11, 1919, in Drumright, Okla., to William and Effie Patterson Coffee. She married James Renfro in Ada, Okla., on March 16, 1940. He died July 3, 1998. She lived in Sweet Home and San Diego before settling in Springfield three years ago. She received a bachelor's degree in education from San Diego State University in 1964. She worked as a school teacher. She was also employed with General Dynamics as a plaster pattern maker. She served as a volunteer gleaner and Sunday school teacher. Her interests included genealogy and she enjoyed crafts and collecting dolls and quilts. Survivors include two sons, Walter "Lowell" of Springfield and James of Hanford, Calif.; a sister, Billie Jean Deckert of Colorado Springs, Colo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A daughter, Lucretia, died previously. The graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. May 22 at the Mount Hope Cemetery in San Diego. England's Eugene Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
