All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.html ========================================================================== ::Sunset Memorial Gardens--Stillwater OK Shaw, Jack Don Jack Don Shaw, 67, passed away in Oklahoma City, OK on August 16, 2002. He was born January 20, 1935 to Roy and Olive Shaw. He graduated from Oilton High School and served in the United States Navy for 5 years. On September 27, 1958, he married Monema Casey. They lived in Waukegan, IL and then Stillwater, OK where Jack graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1963 with a degree in ag economics. He worked as an economist for the U.S.D.A. in Okla. City, FL and Wash., D.C. After retirement from the USDA, he remained in Okla. City and worked in real estate and sales. Preceding him in death were his mother, father and brother Raymond. He is survived by his beloved wife Monema (Nema); daughter Monica and son-in-law Brian Szymanski of Edmond; grandchildren Brett Shaw and Megan Casey Szymanski of Edmond; nephew Mike Loeffler; sister-in-law Kareta and husband Mike Casey. Cousins, sister and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews also survive him. Jack was a warm, loving Christian man of strong character who will be greatly missed. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, walking and attending cultural and sporting events. He was a long time member of Putnam City Baptist Church. Services will be held Tuesday, August 20, 10:30 a.m. at Putnam City Baptist Church with interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Stillwater. Pastor Max Alexander will officiate. The family wishes to thank the Baptist Transplant Team for their dedicated care.
