Saine, 75, died Friday, Nov. 13, 1998. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. today in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett with the Rev. Bud Kidwell of Plainview officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Mr. Saine was born in Bristow, Okla., and had lived in the Fritch area for 17 years. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and was a retired shift supervisor at Phillips Petroleum Co. He married Dorothy Hayes in 1944 in Phillips. He was a recipient of the Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters and a Presidential Citation. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Borger. Mr. Saine was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Gail Saine in 1973. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Shirley Thompson of Borger; a brother, Joe Saine of Destin, Fla.; two sisters, Jane Browning of Destin and Loretta Simpler of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be made to the American Kidney Fund, 7315 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, MD 20814 or a favorite church or charity.
