Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel with the Rev. H.L. Stevens, retired minister, officiating. Burial will be in Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sunray. Mr. Snook was born June 24, 1927, in Drumright, Okla. He loved hunting, fishing and camping and shared those experiences with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lorene Elizabeth Snook, on Nov. 11, 2003; a son, Ernest Snook; and a granddaughter, Ada Snook. Survivors include a son; Jerry Snook and wife, Donna, of Shady Point, Okla; two daughters, Sheila York and husband, Edward, of Amarillo and Audry Gragert and husband, Eldon, of Adams, Okla; two brothers, Luther Snook of Dumas and Doug Snook of Sunray; two sisters, Bobby Lou Ward of Grapevine and Violet Caudle of Augusta, Kan.; six grandchildren, Kelli Cole, William Snook, Jason York, Thomas Snook, Amanda Gragert and Ojay Gragert; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 1927 S. Philadelphia St. in Amarillo.
