Sherman dies at home, age 60, S. Walnut, died this morning at his home of an apparent heart attack. He has been a resident of Sapulpa for the past 55 years after moving here from Chandler. He was born in Chandler he was born July 29, 1918.. Sherman was an army infantry veteran of WW11. He was a roofer and and had been employed by Bill Brackett Roofing Co., and had been self employed also. Survivors include his mother Myrtle Sherman of the home address, also survivors include a brother Kenneth Sherman, Marion,Ore.,and a half brother Wade Hood of Stafford, Ariz.; two sisters Mina Matlock 1102 E. Mcload, and Mrs. Vena Bruton of Pottersville, Calif. Funeral services are pending and will be announced by Owen Funeral Home. ========= Sapulpa Daily Herald March 17, Thursday Sherman Rites set for Clarence H. Sherman, 60, 315 S. Walnut, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Westside Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Millard McGuire officiating. Interment will be in South Heights Cemetery under the direction of Owen Funeral Home.
