Otis R. Smith

Otis R. Smith, 62, went home to be with the lord Tuesday, April 24, 
2007, after a brief battle with cancer.

Otis was born Sept. 13, 1944, in Sapulpa to Jack Smith and Mary 
Guiness.

Otis served in the United States Navy and later worked at Liberty 
Glass for 16 years. Otis had recently retired from truck driving.

Otis enjoyed trains and motorcycle riding.

Otis is survived by his wife Sherlene of the home; brothers Ronnie of 
Choctaw and Don and wife Pat of Newalla; son Bill and wife Janet of 
Sapulpa; daughter Mary and husband David of Mounds; Son Jesse of 
Gore; and son Don and wife Lynn of Norman; grandchildren Clyde, 
Cassandra, Brandan, Derrick and Lendsey; and two great-grandchildren, 
Kaylee and Austin. Pops will be greatly missed by all of us.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2007, 
at Frick Baptist Church in McAlester.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer 
Society.
