Lester Lee Stringfellow

Lester Lee Stringfellow: 03-10-1925 - 08-07-2007

Lester was an active member of Midway Full Gospel Church until moving 
to a nursing home in 2005. In 1986 he retired from Oklahoma Natural 
Gas Company after 38 years of service.

He loved his family and friends and he was loved and respected by all 
those who knew him.

Survived by his wife, Alta Faye Stringfellow, Children: Lois Marlene 
Bennett and husband Theodore (Ted) of McAlester, Okla., Daniel Lee 
Stringfellow and wife Yvonne of Tulsa, Okla., Stephen Lester 
Stringfellow and wife Angelia of McAlester, Okla. and Anna Jean 
Bunting of Oakhurst, Okla., 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren 
and a multitude of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by one 
brother, James Stringfellow of Weleetka, Okla.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents James Hackett 
Stringfellow and Annie Ophelia Sunderman-Stringfellow; sisters 
Juanita Atchley, Cleo McKinsey and Lucille Walker and daughter Joyce 
Arlene Stringfellow.

Viewing of the body will be at Smith's Funeral Home, Sapulpa, Okla.

Funeral Services will be at Midway Full Gospel Church, Oakhurst, 
Okla. on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 10 a.m.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Okla.

Officiating the funeral services are Pastor Leroy Sewell and Rev. 
Charles Conley.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Exendine, Jesse Exendine, Robert Gobble, 
Howard Harger, Richard Sanderson, and Eric Stringfellow

Honorary pallbearers: Matthew Stringfellow and Joshua Lary .

Funeral services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in 
Sapulpa, Okla.
