All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Moore's Southlawn Chapel FH--Tulsa OK WEBB -- Pat Jerryl, WWII Veteran, died at age 88, on Monday, September 18, 2006. He passed away suddenly and peacefully--just went to sleep. Mr. Webb was born in Drumright, OK, on February 3, 1918. He was the second son, born to George James and Fern Dessel (Versaw) Webb. Mr. Webb attended school in Drumright and Cushing, OK. He had 10 siblings. While in school, Mr. Webb and his brother, George Jr., were members of Boy Scout Troop # 2. He married, Francis Martha Davis in Perkins, OK, in 1938. The couple would have celebrated their 68th anniversary, on December 18. They had lived in the Tulsa area since 1954. They had 2 children, Thomas (Tom) Ray Webb and Patricia Webb. During WWII, Mr. Webb served in the United States Navy, aboard the USS Muir, Escort Destroyer # 770. He was selected to represent the U.S. Navy as an Honor Guard at the funeral of President F.D. Roosevelt. Mr. Webb, his father and his son, were Journeyman Electricians. He practiced his trade for more than 50 years, before retiring. He belonged to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers #584. Mr. Webb was a 32 degree Mason. He belonged to the Scottish Rite, Delta Lodge # 425. He was an avid bass fisherman, loved to grill and had a passion for outdoor activities. He marveled at God's creations and the beauty of nature and had recently found a new friend, his puppy, Trixie Ray. Pat J. Webb was preceded in death by: his parents, Fern and George Webb; brothers, George James Webb Jr., Charles Wm. Webb, and Thomas A. Webb; step-mother, Irene Webb; and his beloved son, Tom Webb. He is survived by: his wife, Francis Webb of the home; daughter, Patricia Webb, Tulsa; daughter-in-law, Barbara Webb, Langley; grandchildren, Valerie Webb, Broomfield, CO and Teresa Webb, Tulsa; great-grandchildren, Majeda and Miranda Zeinab, Broomfield, CO. Other survivors include brothers, Donald D. Webb, California, Jerry Webb, Missouri, Mike Webb, California; sisters, Phyllis Antell, California, Marilyn McGonigal, Ohio, Delores George, Missouri and Colleen Aaron, Michigan; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association. Service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2006, Moore's Southlawn Chapel.
