Amarillo Globe News 29 Nov 1997 Virginia Hope Watson Virginia Hope Watson, 64, of 1031 Hodges, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1997. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Bolton Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Green, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery Field of Valor. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Watson was born in Oilton, Okla. She moved to Amarillo in 1969 from Las Cruces, N.M. She was a member of the President's Club of Avon Sales for six years and the Cherokee Home Demonstration Club. She also was a member of the Couples 3 Sunday School class at Bolton Street Baptist Church. She married Eddie M. Watson Jr. in 1955 at Chandler, Okla. They owned and operated the Floor Man Janitorial Service. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Melinda Hamlin of Fritch and Bronna McNeely of Burkburnett; her father and stepmother, Wayne and Minnie Rozell of Perry, Okla.; two sisters, Peggy Sue Jones of Oklahoma City and Linda Joyce Kneckt of Perry; two brothers, Wayne William Rozell Jr. of Chandler, Okla., and Dennis Leonard Rozell of Oklahoma City; and four grandchildren. The family will be at 1031 Hodges.
