All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Greenwood Memorial Park--Fort Worth TX Weil, Berniece Ruth Smulian "Beanie" 1910 - 2004 Berniece Ruth "Beanie" Smulian Weil, 93, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died peacefully Thursday afternoon, Dec. 16, 2004, at a local hospital. Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the sanctuary of Beth - El Congregation, 4901 Briarhaven Road. Rabbi Ralph Mecklenburger will officiate. Burial: Following committal prayers, Beanie will be laid to rest next to her husband, Marion, in the Beth - El Section of Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: She will lie in state 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Robertson Mueller Harper. Memorials: Mrs. Weil's family respectfully suggests that memorial contributions may be given, in her name, to Beth - El Congregation or a charity of choice. A native of Bristow, Okla., Berniece Ruth Smulian was born Dec. 24, 1910, the daughter of Adolph and Sara Porten Smulian. She was married to Marion Winters Weil, who died in 1998. Beanie was a longtime resident of Fort Worth and a member of Beth - El Congregation. Survivors: Daughter, Sharon "Lynny" Weil Sankary and her husband, Eddie, of Fort Worth; son, Leon "Bootsey" Weil and his wife, Marcia, of Sarasota, Fla.; grandchildren, Lisa Sankary O'Connor and her husband, John, Susan Sankary Benson and her husband, Jim, Michael Hugh Sankary and his wife, Kristin, Scott Weil Sankary and his wife, Michelle, Daniel Weil, Larry Weil and his wife, Barbara, and Andrew Weil and his wife, Rachel; great- grandchildren, Eddie and Kristy O'Connor, Ashley, Adam and Alex Uptegraft, Blake Benson, Ben and Jack Sankary, Alexa and Madeline Sankary and Max and Zoe Weil; sister, Julia Smulian Jacobson; and several nieces and nephews.
