Wolfe Luther Leon Wolfe "Luke" was born to Raymond and Stella Wolfe on September 18,1937. Luke passed away on Monday, March 24, 2003. Luke was preceded in death by his parents Stella Beasley and Raymond Wolfe, also by a granddaughter, Malonie Dawn Pugh, and by his sister Lawanda Broughton, Fern Broughton and Helen Turner, and brothers, Howard Wolfe, Melvin Wolfe, and Clifford Wolfe. Luke is survived by his wife, Joyce, of Sapulpa, his children Luke Jr., and Kelly Wolfe, Russell Wolfe, Jimmie and Kim Wolfe, all of Tulsa, Anita and Tony Platner, of Chelsea, Valorie and Anthony Barrell, all of Muskogee, Michael Walden and Deborah Wolfe, his step- children Ricky Hollis and Randy Hollis, both of Sapulpa, and brothers, Darrell Wolfe, Wayne Wolfe and Jimmy Wolfe, of Sapulpa, and Richard Wolfe of Stillwater. Luke has 33 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, and many, many very loved nieces and nephews. Luke enjoyed fishing, country music and a good tomato straight from the garden. But most of all he enjoyed being with his family. This is evident in the many stories he would tell about them, with the laughter in his voice and a gleam in his beautiful blue eyes. Luke gave his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ at the Midway Full Gospel Church, and we know that today he is happy and seated with Jesus in Heaven. Services will be held at 11 a.m. March 28, 2003 at Midway FullGospel church, with burial to follow at Green Hill Memorial Garden. The Wolfe family has entrusted the arrangements to Green Hill Funeral Home. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Creek County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/creek/creek.htm
