Published: August 23, 2006 12:14 pm Thomas Fenton Zumwalt On Aug. 21, 2006, Thomas Fenton Zumwalt went to be with his Lord in Heaven. Thomas was a beloved father, son, brother and family member. Thomas loved computer technology and was an avid drag racing enthusiast as both a mechanic and driver. His competitive spirit will be missed at the track. Thomas loved his son, Holden, with all his heart. They were always playing and laughing together. He enjoyed family activities and shared a very close relationship with his father in hunting and racing. Thomas's warm smile, quick wit, mischievous nature and loving spirit will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Thomas leaves behind his son, Holden of Mounds; parents Mark and Margaret Zumwalt, of Sapulpa; grandmother Marie Wall; sister Stacy O'Brian and her husband Tracy and nephew Samuel O'Brian of Mounds; and a host of friends and loved ones. Funeral services for Thomas have been set for 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006 at Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jake Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Tracy O'Brian, Samuel O'Brian, John Harris, Todd Blaylock, Tom Fitzgibbons and Dwight Durant. Honorary bearers will be Buddy King, Dr. Curtis Smith, Scott Hulsey and J.D. Zumwalt. A minor's savings account has been set up for his son, Holden M. Zumwalt. In lieu of flowers. Donations can be made to any American Heritage Bank location Checks payable to Holden M. Zumwalt may be mailed to American Heritage Bank, P.O. Box 374, Mounds, OK, 74047.
