(Tulsa, Indian Terr.), Vol. 6, No. 18, Ed. 1 Tuesday, October 11, 1910 Because the bride-to-be numbers so many friends in this city the announcement of the engagement of Miss Dessie V. Shaw of Sapulpa and Mr. Northrope W. Hibbard of Kiefer, is of special interest. The wedding will be October 19. Miss Shaw is the daughter of Mrs. Lydia C. Shaw of Sapulpa. She lived in this city about three years and was one of the popular girls in society circles. Since her going to Sapulpa she has enjoyed the same pleasure of having many friends. Mr. Hibbard is postmaster at Kiefer besides having business interests. The wedding ceremony will be read by the Reverend Gilbert A. Ottman of this city and will be attended with quiet simplicity.
