Lyle Brown
Lyle Brown, 81, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1998.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Terry Tamplen, pastor of Kingswood United Methodist Church, and Chris Ford, pastor of Kingswood United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Brown was born in Butler, Okla. He moved to Amarillo in 1929 from Tulsa, Okla. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He married Lavenia Connally in 1939 at Tulia. He was preceded in death by a son, Lyle A. Brown, in 1962.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Lynn Brown of Amarillo; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
