Boggs ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Surnames: Clark Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Barbara Debitha Howlet-Clark, 81-year-old former Putnam resident, in the First Methodist church in Putnam, Ok at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. The paster, Rev. Paul Bower, will officate. Mrs. Clark died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Rebecca (Alias May)Arnold, yesterday in Weatherford where she has resided for the past two years. Mrs. Clark was born 10 Jun 1850 in Cocke Co. TN. to Mr. William M. Howlet, (Alias Peter)and and Mrs. Lydia Louisa Huffman (Alias Liny). She was united in marrage February 27, 1879 in Commache Co. TX. to Richard Artmus Clark. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Effie Clark and Mrs. George Thomas (Alias Dick) Widener, both of Putnam, Mrs. Arnold of Weatherford, and Mrs. Ruby Harsha, (Wife of W.W.) of McNeal, Arizona; one son James William Jason Clark of Putnam, 24 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Burial will be made in Grisby (Liberty-Putnam) Cemetery. Kern & Schneider Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
