Eighth, were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Ssimpson, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Loving died suddenly Wednesday in Oklahoma General Hospital. A resident of Clinton for the past 34 years, she moved there from Cheyenne in 1938. She was employed by the law firm of Meacham, Meacham and Meacham and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Clinton Cemetery. Survivors include three sons, George Jr. of Oklahoma Ciy, Walter M. of Kailu, Hawaii and John T. of Clinton; her mother, Mrs. Evelyn Garner of Santa Monica, California; two brothers, John Thomas Cross, of Riverside, California, and Merlin B. Cross, of Los Angeles, California; six grandchildren. Mrs. Loving was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Cross, formerly, of Cheyenne. Her mother is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Nicholson, early day residents of Cheyenne. Her father, Merlin, was a brother of Dean and Lance Cross of this city.
