John was born August 26, 1936 at Moorewood, Oklahoma. He proudly served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. John received his BS at Southwestern and his MA and Ed.D.at Oklahoma University. His life was spent in both Oklahoma and Colorado. He was married for 49 years to his wife Jean (Linville) Moseley. They both taught in the Reydon School system some years ago. John was one of six children; Mildred Swisher, Lee Allen Moseley, Melvin Moseley, Julie Alice Phillips and preceding him in death, Bascum Butler Moseley. He is survived by his loving family; wife, Jean; son, Jeff and Carmen of Nashville, TN; daughter, Jonel of Denver, Colorado; and his three grandchildren: Brette and Michael Moseley of Nashville, TN and Tre Moseley of Denver, Colorado. John dedicated his life to follow Christ through his active ministry to others. Memorial services were held Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the Council Road Baptist Church under the direction of the Mercer Adams Funeral Home. Burial followed at the Thomas, Oklahoma cemetery.
