Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. M.O. Garner, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Military rites will be by VFW Post No. 1475. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Raff was born in Arnett, Okla., and graduated from Independence High School in Custer County, Okla. He worked as a mechanic at Pantex for more than 10 years. He served with the Navy during World War II and was a Baptist. He married Edna Gertrude Thrasher in 1936 at Amarillo. She died in 1993. Survivors include a son, Richard Raff of Amarillo; two brothers, Charles L. Raff of Custer, Okla., and Jim Raff of Amarillo; a sister, Thelma Wood of Fort Worth; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild. The body will not be available for viewing. The family suggests memorials be to the American Heart Association.
