STEWART Funeral services for John Troy Stewart will be conducted today at 2pm in the First Baptist Church, with Dr. H.W. Stigler, the pastor, in charge. Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery. Stewart, who was 88, died early Saturday in Oklahoma General Hospital after suffering a cerebral hemorrahage. A native of Texas, he came to Oklahoma in 1903, first settling in Dewey County and in 1915 moved to Custer County. He had been a resident of Clinton since 1930. He lived at 803 Avant Street. Stewart was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving him are his wife,(Ella), six daughters, Mrs. Hattie Reimer, Mrs. T.R. Jacobs and Mrs. J.W.(Juanita) Cornelson, all of Clinton; Mrs. Bonnie T.(Minnie) Bowman of Homedale, Idaho; Mrs. Vertie Kenady and Mrs. Charley Shive both of Oklahoma City; two sons Malcolm'Mike' Stewart, Clinton and Raymond"Pete" Stewart of Oklahoma city.
