Submitted by: Sue Morris Weber ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Clinton Daily News March 14, 1960 (Custer County OK) Services Set For Mrs. Ella Stewart Mrs. Ella Stewart, 709 Avant St., died Sunday afternoon at her home after a brief illness. She was 84. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Wednesday in the First Baptist Church, with Rev. R.N. Hammons, pastor officiating. Burial will be in the Clinton cemetery. Mrs. Stewart was born in Taney County, MO and came to Dewey County in 1903. She had been a resident of Clinton since 1914 and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Hattie Reimer, Mrs. T.T.(Oben)Jacobs, and Mrs. J.W.(Juanita) Cornelson all of Clinton, Mrs. Bonnie T.(Minnie) Bowman of Homedale, Idaho, Mrs. Vertie Kenady and Mrs. Charles (Leota) Shive, both of Oklahoma City, two sons, Malcolm'Mike'G. Stewart of Clinton and Raymond Stewart of Oklahoma. And three sisters, Mrs. Lucinda McAbee and Mrs. Martha McAbee, both of Clinton, and Mrs. Dora Evans, San Leandro, Calif, and one brother T.L. Clayton, Hammon, 29 grandchildren,49 great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren.
