All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::East Mound Cemetery--Matador TX Reatha Robertson Skaggs MATADOR - Reatha "Bobby" Robertson Skaggs, 73, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in the East Mound Cemetery at Matador with the Rev. Rickey Lawrence, pastor of Roaring Springs Full Gospel Church at Roaring Springs, officiating. Arrangements are by Seigler Funeral Home of Matador. Mrs. Skaggs was born in Matador. She attended schools in Matador and received a bachelor's degree from West Texas State University at Canyon and a master's degree from Texas Tech at Lubbock. She lived in Stillwater, Okla., and attended Oklahoma A&M, before returning to Matador and managing the family's ranching and farming interests and restaurant known as "Bob's Oil Well." She moved to Weatherford, Okla., in 1981 and lived there until moving to Archer City in 1999. She married Billy Paul Skaggs in 1952 at Oklahoma City. He died in 1993. Survivors include a daughter, Princess Skaggs of Archer City; and a grandson, Billy Bob Skaggs-Duerr of Archer City. The family requests memorials be to the Wichita Falls Home Health Care at Wichita Falls; the American Cancer Society; or a local Humane Society.
