Vicki S. Thompson
Vicki S. Thompson, 80, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 1998.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Paul Sneed of Central Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Thompson was born in Boonville, N.Y., and moved to Amarillo in 1949. She retired as a self-employed hairdresser. She was a member of Central Church of Christ.
She married Charles Thompson in 1945 at Arapaho, Okla. She was preceded in death by a son, Sherman Frank Thomas, in 1974.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Seth Thomas of Amarillo; a daughter, Rose Marie Carney of Amarillo; a brother, Frank Schultz of New York City; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will be at 4104 Shelby Drive. They request memorials be to Central Church of Christ.
