Submitted by: Teresa Bell ------------------------------------------------------------------------- WEATHERFORD NEWS, June 26, 1945 Waldroup Services Held Saturday Funeral services were conducted from the Lockstone Funeral home here Saturday afternoon for John Henry Waldroup, 76, who died here Thursday after a lingering illness. Rev. A. K. Fleming, pastor of the Methodist Church, conducted the funeral services. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery. Waldroup, father of Wilma Cate, of Weatherford, had been here for the past three months. His home was in Denver, Colorado. Surviving him are his wife in Denver, four daughters and three sons: Wilma Cate, Weatherford, Mrs. John Y. Ishkian, Oklahoma City, Mrs. Dee Hopwood and Mrs. Johnny Pierce, both of Denver, Charles Waldroup, Tulare, California, Fred Waldroup, Oakland, California and Henry Waldroup, Kearney, Nebraska.
