All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::River View Cemetery--Mammoth Spring AR The Grove Sun Daily Audrey Mae Balwin 1901-2004 GROVE, Okla. - Audrey Baldwin, 103, died Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at Grove Nursing Center. Audrey Baldwin was born on March 15, 1901 in Wirth, Ark. to William and Anna (Amadon) Wirth. She married John W. Baldwin on November 25, 1925 in Mammoth Springs, Ark. He preceded her in death in 1959. In the early years before her marriage, Audrey taught in rural schools near Wirth, Ark. She later worked in Reproduction Services for Douglas Aircraft in Tulsa for twenty-two years retiring in 1967. Audrey was a member of Yale Avenue Presbyterian Church in Tulsa, a former Worthy Grand Matron of the Order of Eastern Star and volunteered with Meals on Wheels and the Red Cross. She moved to Grove from Denver, Colo. three years ago. Audrey was a very giving person, knitting many items to give away. Her motto was "busy hands." Survivors include: two children, Billy Baldwin of Eucha, Okla., and Anna Jane Valenzuela of Denver Colo.; six grandchildren, Pam Valenzuela Bakeman, Patsy Valenzuela, John W. Baldwin, Debra Glenn, Dede Sykora, and Jeff Baldwin; great grandchildren, Michael Bakeman, Bryan Wirth Bakeman, Valerie Bakeman, Macie Baldwin Sykora, Katie Sykora, Brandon Sykora, Ashlyn Glenn, Kahlyn Glenn, Zach Glenn, Nicholas Baldwin, Aly Baldwin, Riley Baldwin, and Gentry Mae Baldwin; brother, and sisters, Vic Wirth, Bertha Boor, and Beulah Derrick, all of Ontario, Ore. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers. Memorial services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2004 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held at a later date in River View Cemetery in Mammoth Springs, Ark. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
