Mr. Barnett was born on December 18, 1926, in Flint, Oklahoma. He passed 
away at home on November 3, 2006, in White City, Oregon.

Mr. Barnett lived in the Rogue Valley since 1965. He started working at 
Boise Cascade in Medford in July of 1966, and retired in December of 1988.

Mr. Barnett enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He 
was known as Gentle Ben and Grandpa to many.

Preceding Mr. Barnett in death was his wife, Ruth; son, Donnie Richardson; 
sister, Mary Retherford; brothers, Jack and Cullen Barnett. He is survived 
by his sons, Benny Ray Barnett, Robert and Howard Richardson; daughters, 
Margie Barnett, Bonnie Bouslaugh, Gerry Griffin, Reba McCormick; his 
brothers, Tubby, Ray and John Barnett; and sister, Margie Huls. Mr. 
Barnett was blessed with having many grandchildren, great and great-great 
grandchildren.

Benny and Holly Barnett would like to give special thanks to Providence 
Hospice, Access Inc., Natalie Carvahal and Dorothy Richardson for all 
their loving hands and kindness.

Memorial services for Mr. Barnett will be held at First Assembly of God 
Church, 3396 Avenue A, White City, Ore., at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 
11th with Pastor Michael Brown.
