All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Southwest City Cemetery--Southwest City AR The Grove Sun Daily INNIE BLANCHE (FRYE) FOSTER 1920-2005 JAY, Okla. - Minnie Blanche (Frye) foster, age 84 of Jay, departed this life on Sat., April 2 in the Northwest Medical Center of Washington County in Springdale, Ark. Minnie started this journey of life on April 28, 1920 in Berryville, Ark. born to the late James Ethridge and Edrithe Iola (Duncan) Allen. On June 1, 1935 she was united in marriage to Elmer Frye and to this union three sons and three daughters were born. She and Elmer spent fifty years together before his passing on Jan. 27, 1986. Besides being hard working and devoted homemaker to her husband and family, she was also employed by the Southwest poultry plant for fifteen years. Later in life she married Raymon Foster in Nov. of 1987. Minnie had accepted Christ as her personal Lora and Savior early in her life and founded the Faith Pentecostal Church near Southwest City, Mo. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Elmer Frye, and Raymon Foster; a daughter Betty Mae Denny; sisters, Emma Allen, and Luella Brashar, and brothers, Chester and Eldon Allen. Minnie is survived by three sons, Billy Dean Frye and wife Judy of Jay, Okla., George Michael Frye and wife Cindy of Southwest City, and Jacob Andrew Frye and wife Patricia of Jay; two daughters, Patricia Hill and husband Dustin of Goodman, Mo., and Phyllis Jean Ball of Joplin, Mo.; twenty-one grandchildren, and thirty-one great grandchildren; three brothers, Charles James Allen of Bonner Springs, Kan., Claudia Allen, Jr. of Wichita, Kan., and Bob Allen of Neosho, Mo.; two sisters, Kaybelle Henry of Talco, Texas, and Mattie Maude Bowers of Sapulpa, Okla.; several nieces and nephews as well as a host of family and friends. Funeral services are at 10 a.m., Thurs., April 7 in the Cornerstone Church near Southwest City with Pastor Wesley Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Southwest City Cemetery. Josh Ball, David Allen, Steve Allen, Kevin Allen, John Butts, Donnie Denny, and Jason Potter will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Allan Denny, and Gary Denny. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening 4-7 p.m. in the Faith Pentecostal Church near Southwest City. Memorial contributions are being directed to the Alzheimer’s Association and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
