Fields, age 72 years old, died Monday from an attack of influenza, having been ill three weeks. Burial at Olympus Cemetery Tuesday afternoon. Funeral services were conducted at the grave by Rev. James P. Butler an old friend of the family. She leaves two daughters, Miss Cora Fields and Mrs. Ed Mount, to mourn her loss. She was born circa 1847 according to the 1850 census of Union County, GA. She had previously married and divorced Ezekiel Fields.
