GUFFEY 1948-2005 GROVE, Okla. - Glenna S. Guffey, a resident of Wichita, Kansas died at her home on Friday, September 16, 2005. She was 56. She was born Nov. 11, 1948, at Chadwich, Mo. She had lived at Red Rock Resort in Grove, Ok. prior to moving to Wichita. She had also worked at Grand Savings Bank in Grove for 7 years, sold Avon for 15 years, and was a hairdresser for 12 years. She married John Guffey on Feb. 4, 2001. He survives, of the home. Other survivors include a son, Kevin Gordon, a daughter and her husband, Kandy and Richard Falkin, all of Helper, Ks., four brothers, Rick Hudson and wife, Patty, of Wichita, Ed Hudson of Wichita, Timmy Eaken of Grove, and Jimmie Eaken, of Mt. View, Ar., three sisters, Jeannie Myers and Husband, Eldon, of Wichita, Vickie Clark of Grove, Ok., and Linda Green of Las Vegas, Nv. Her father, James Eaken of Grove, and seven grandchildren. She was preceeded by her mother, Betty Eaken. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm., Tuesday, Sept. 20,2005, at Elk River Baptist Church with Jim Sherman officiating. Serving, as pallbearers will be Ernie Glass, Eddie Hudson-Jr., Rickie Hudson-Jr., Ritchie Reed, Timmy Eaken and Tracy Shaw. Burial will follow at Buzzard Cemetery in Grove. A visitation will be from 4:00-6:00p.m.,Sunday, September 18,2005, at Cochran Mortuary in Wichita. A visitation will be from 6:00-8:00p.m. Monday, Sept.19,2005, at Adcock Funeral Home in Fairland.
